Facilities Manager (Shanghai)
I first visited Modern Space in 2017 to upgrade some existing equipment while working for another company. I was impressed by Modern Space and saw that I could help develop the equipment and facilities further. I joined Modern Space the following year!
I’m now Facilities Manager, meaning I’m responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are working to the best standards.
My days usually start by reviewing the work order status with my team, then I prioritize and distribute new work orders. During the day I collect all the equipment and facilities data, assess status, review new requests and go through parts orders with the Sourcing team. I also support the Engineering, Project Management and QC teams with testing.
Modern Space is always looking for the latest technologies and new ways of doing things. I enjoy learning from this and that my knowledge, experience and opinions are valued too.
