Senior Retail Product Designer

Role Summary
As a Senior Creative designer, you will be working within our global creative team located in central London, UK. We design, visualise and engineer anything and everything within the retail environment. Your role will be versatile and will require a lot of flexibility in your day to day tasks. From creative thinking to 3D modelling to rendering and compiling presentations ready to present to our clients. The team is small thus responsibility is given to each designer to manager their own time to produce and delivery high quality work on time and within the fee.
We are looking for a passionate creative designer with integrity which had handle pressure on quick turn around retail projects for some of the world’s leading brands. We want a brilliant and dynamic designer to add value and enthusiasm to help drive the creative division forward.

Essential responsibilities
- Attend team / client briefing sessions, understand what is required and the deliverables.
- Create world-class award winning original and innovative design solutions. Produce presentations that exceed client expectations.
- Work within a team, be a good communicator internally, express your creative thoughts and ideas through sketches.
- Plan your time accordingly within the design fee.
- Identify and solve deviations before they become problems.
- Attend internal meetings to discuss the projects, this may entail out of hours due to the global locations of MS Staff.
- Producing beautiful high quality renders and potentially animations.
- When required produce engineering intent drawing packs.
- Maintaining client relationships alongside the Account manager and design director.
Preferred qualifications
- BA (Hons) Degree in Product / Furniture design
- English speaking essential
- Good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor / Solidworks
- Knowledge of Key Shot rendering
- Minimum 7 years professional working experience
- Ideally experience working within the retail design sector
Ideal skills
- Good understanding of Inventor / SolidWorks, 3D modelling is essential.
- Good experience of producing high quality renders and a knowledge of producing animations would be ideal.
- A good technical level of knowledge of furniture construction, manufacturing processes and materials.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Good use of Microsoft office i.e.: PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
- Good knowledge of Adobe creative suite i.e.: Photoshop & InDesign.
- Free hand sketching skills would be beneficial
